Delores (Yehle) Stanke Garves, 76, of Janesville, WI passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at her home following a long battle with cancer surrounded by family and friends. She was born on April 17, 1935 in Reedsburg, WI, the daughter of Alexander and Veronica (Jacobs) Yehle. Delores attended Janesville High School, was a member of Women of the Moose Lodge # 477 where she was a member of the College of Regents and a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Delores loved animals, loved to read, do crafts, bake and go on bus trips to the casinos.

Delores is survived by a brother: Donald (Janet) Yehle, a sister, Rose (Jack) Iseli, a stepdaughter, Cindy Eibach, nieces, Cheryl Lornson and Pam Edwards, a nephew, Steve Iseli, many great nieces and great nephews, step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren, special friends, Valerie Kath, Judy Willard, Darrell Boschma and a very special kitty, Tigger. She was preceded in death by her husbands Louis Stanke and Ken Garves, her parents, three sisters, Betty Walters, Gloria Yehle, Mary Lou Marhee and a special great nephew, Bobby Lornson.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon Thursday, September 1, 2011 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 1422 Center Avenue, Janesville. Funeral services will be at Noon Thursday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Bruce Gray officiating. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to HospiceCare, Inc.
